Since 1945, Zeldin served as an artist of the Soviet Army. In the theater of the Russian Army, he performs several brilliant roles, among which – the main role in the production of “The Man from La Mancha”, the roles in the performances “Invitation to the Castle”, “Once Upon a Time”, and “Uncle’s Dream”.
Among other famous films of Zeldin’s : “The Taming of the Shrew” (1961), “Uncle Vanya” (1970), “With You and Without You” (1973), “Woman in White” (1981), “Ten Little Indians” (1987 ) and many others.
In 1975, Vladimir Zeldin in his biography received the title of People’s Artist of the USSR. He also has several other awards, orders (“Friendship”, “For Merit to the Fatherland” 3 and 4 degrees), prizes (for example, the Stalin Prize). The last role played by Zeldin was an episodic role in the series “Happy Together.”
