The Bridge 1 season
The bridge connecting Russia and Estonia is suddenly plunged into darkness.
When the light is ignited again, in the middle of the bridge, on the conditional boundary line, the body is detected.
A joint Russian-Estonian investigation is being appointed. The Russian side is represented by the investigator of SK Maxim Kazantsev (Mikhail Porechenkov), and the Estonian side is the senior commissioner of the Central Criminal Police of Estonia Inga Veermaa (Ingeborga Dapkunaite).
Together they will have to investigate a chain of crimes that are well prepared, masterfully executed and contain “messages” to society on the topic of social injustice.
Gradually, Inga and Maxim understand that the criminal only poses as a fighter for the truth, the basis of his actions is the motive of personal revenge, and the main enemy is Maxim himself.
The Bridge Season 2
After the events of the first season, a year passes. Television in St. Petersburg talks about a new crime: a strange composition was discovered on a pleasure boat – three mannequins and a female corpse.
Marta Andersaa, an employee of the Estonian consulate in St. Petersburg, is identified in the murdered woman. Since an Estonian citizen was killed, a joint investigative and operational group is being created, led by Inga Veermaa (Ingeborga Dapkunaite) and Maxim Kazantsev (Mikhail Porechenkov).
They will have a fight with a mysterious serial killer, an elusive and unpredictable installer, whose compositions of murders are similar to the pictures presented in the art gallery of the famous millionaire.
