María Pedraza and Paula Losada are the protagonists of the Jota Linares film. After the National Classical Ballet star commits suicide, Irene is chosen to take her place in the company’s biggest ballet production: Giselle. Now, the target of the jealousy and cruelty of her peers, Irene finds a friend in the new dancer, Aurora, a lonely teenage girl dominated by her mother. Isolated and pressured by the sacrifice involved in succeeding in dance, Irene and Aurora’s relationship becomes increasingly close, as well as obsessive. Together they undertake a flight forward in search of themselves.
