One of the upcoming episodes of Star Wars will be entrusted to a female director.
This was told at the Academy Awards by the head of the Lucas film studio, Kathleen Kennedy.
“We already have two or three fantastic women who worked for Star Wars, we cultivate a lot of talents,”
she commented in an interview with BBC correspondents.

Note that Kennedy had in mind several directors who were responsible for staging individual episodes of the Mandalorese series, as well as Deborah Chow, who is considered the creator of the series about Obi-Wan Kennobi.
