The TV series Kara Ekmek meaning “Black Bread” will tell you an exciting story of the life of one extremely poor and difficult Turkish family living in a not very prosperous district of Istanbul without money for existence, true love and without the slightest hope for a carefree future.
The main characters are two inseparable sisters Asia and Mina, who since childhood trust only each other with all their secrets. From a young age, Asie is an extremely emotional girl who sometimes seems even ruthless and insensitive, but the youngest Mina is her complete opposite, because she is calm and submissive, working as a simple teacher in one of the city’s kindergartens.
Unfortunately, their fate decreed that young Turkish girls only have to dream of carefree love and a quiet life. But suddenly the day comes when the life of one of the sisters changes dramatically. From now on, girls will have to learn not only love, but also hatred towards each other.
