Cyrano de bergerac is an Amazing Masterpiece.

This is perhaps the best of the adaptation of “Macbeth” in the history of cinema. And now McEvoy is trying himself in the modern version of another iconic classic character, the Parisian wit and duelist Cyrano de Bergerac, who “got rid” of Rostov’s pathos and long nose, but retained an irony so close to the heart of the British, brilliant word ownership and inescapable romanticism, which so lacking pragmatic modernity.

The film is staged onto the big screen from the stage of the Royal National Theater. The 1897 version of Edmond Rostand’s play belongs to Martin Krimp, directed by James Lloyd. Critics choke with delight, giving generous compliments to McEvoy.
